My name is KING KAYE (@bennkayee). I write, record, and engineer all my songs in my parents basement. Still… at the age of 24. The only performances I do are private events that act as art galleries, usually displaying music and analog visual techniques, usually rare and sold out.  

My uncle, who was never in a reltionship, and was in and out of group homes due to chemical imbalances and mental heslth issues, has been one of the main inspirations behind the meditative and etherial tone of my music. Music is a tool for me. Go to Therapy. Take care of yourself. It’s the only way you’ll be able to love others. 

Speaking of love, I’d like to thank my parents and my ex for the endless support, and I’d also like to thank my fraternity, that didn’t let me in after a whole process due to a concussion with internal bleeding. Never have I had a more insightful, existential experience about myself and others. Also, if I didn’t leave school year, I wouldn’t have met my engineering mentor, who has worked with almost everyone I listen too.
